Radiator leaks usually come from one of three places: the valve gland, the union to the rad, or a pinhole rusting through the bottom panel. I'll pressure-test, find which, fix it on the spot. £95 for a valve or union job, more if it's a full rad swap.

How it works

Find the leak
Towel under the rad, check the valve gland, check the union, check the bottom seam. Most leaks are obvious within two minutes.
- Step 2
Isolate & drain
TRV off, lockshield off, hose into a bucket, system pressure dropped.
- Step 3
Fix it properly
New valve, repacked gland, new tail and olive, or full rad swap. No PTFE-and-hope bodge jobs.
- Step 4
Refill & inhibit
System refilled, fresh corrosion inhibitor dosed in, vented through, no air locks, pressure back to 1.5 bar.

FAQs
Will you need to drain the whole system?
Usually just down to the leak — we'll close the rad above and drain off enough to get the job done. For a full rad swap on a sealed system, yes the full system is drained and re-inhibited.
Can you replace the valve at the same time?
Always. If a valve is leaking, the other one on that rad is usually next. We swap both for ~£150 fitted — saves you a second call-out fee inside a year.
Why is my radiator leaking from the bottom?
Almost always pinhole corrosion on the rear panel — internal rust eating through. A patch is short-term; a full rad swap from £180 fitted is the proper repair.
